British fashion designer, Charlotte Ronson premiered her Fall 2009 collection @ New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on 2/13/09.
As they walked to the tunes of "boogie woogie buggle boy of Company B", Charlotte Ronsons show exuded a mix of millitary encounters by biker chic. Sexy and sleek as many pieces were topped off with military/"madmaxx" touches.

Charlotte Ronson has also teamed up with Urban Outfitters to create Play by C.Ronson ,
in addition to recently teaming up with J.C Penny to create an affordable juniors line "I heart Ronson"

The Brawl.....

I had to share the funny. It's Monday, a holiday and I'm working so I needed the laugh..

Moves Around the League

The Pistons are set to trade Alex Ackers to the Clippers for future draft picks.

Suns set to release Terry Porter of his coaching duties 4 months into the season. In his first year as Head coach the Suns are currently in 9th place in the West with a 28-23 record. Former Clippers Head coach Alvin Gentry is set to assume the head coaching role.

Trade rumors surrounding Amare Stoudemire are still floating around the league but as of this morning he’s still with the Suns.

The Miami Heat traded Shawn Marion to the Toronto Raptors for Jermaine O’Neal and Marcus Banks.

Braid-Less A.I. (Thanks Pres.Obama)

The year of the braid-less revolt continues. First Bow-Wow, Trey Songz, Omarion, Carmelo Anthony and now (drum roll please….) Allen Iverson, yes you read that correctly. A.I. has chopped the braids off. Now my love for Mr. Iverson dates back to 95 during his single bulldog tattoo days at Georgetown. I have followed this man’s career for many years, in fact in high school you couldn't see a speck of paint on my bedroom wall because it was full of AI pictures. This man has rocked braids for a good 12-13 years. He started growing his hair out towards the end of his rookie season. Let me tell you, one glimpse of the new look Iverson last night and I fell back in love. It’s 95 all over again…hey Allen (insert HEARTS here)

Beauty Corner: Fun Colors and Blending

Shaq and Kobe...Tougher Than Leather

The Stars of the NBA were showcased last night during the 58th All-Star Game. The West defeated the East 146-119. Shaq and Kobe appeared to have made up. They were rather friendly during this weekends events and both shared the games MVP honors. It's so good seeing them back together... Read their story here

All-Star Saturday Night Recap

The NBA was on center stage this past weekend and how could you not enjoy every minute of it! Starting Friday night with Kevin Durant (OKC Thunder) taking the MVP trophy as the Sophomores went on to beat the Freshman in the Rookie Game.

Saturday was one of the better NBA Saturday events in many…many years. It’s nice to have young men with character in the league. Durant won the newly added game of H-O-R-S-E, Chicago’s on Derrick Rose won the Skills Challenge, Detroit won the Shooting Stars Challenge, Daequan Cook (Miami Heat) won the 3 point challenge over favored back-to-back 3 point champ Jason Kapono but the event of all events…the Slam Dunk contest.

Now the past two years of the contest has been pretty decent. During the 06-07 all star dunk contest you had the battle between Andre Iguodala and little Nate Robinson with Nate prevailing with nice dunk over Spud Webb. On to 07-08 the Great Superman emerged courtesy of the charismatic Dwight Howard, sending the Dunk contest in a roar with his high flying SUPERMAN dunk.

This year both Nate and Dwight came to put on a show. Now Rudy Fernandez and JR Smith (My boy) did their thing in the first round but the stage was set for Superman and KryptoNate. The 2nd round included costume changes as Superman (D.Howard) transformed from his telephone booth and dunked on a 12ft backboard. Nate Robinson shut the event down emerging from the locker room in all KRYPTONITE green and dunked over 6’ll Dwight Howard. This year the fans were allowed to vote for the dunk contest and with 52% of the votes KRYPTONATE took home the trophy. I love this game
