I have totally detached my self fromt the Television world, so I have been missing out on everything, DTWS and Ocho Cinco(Did he get kicked off?), The Chili Show, Lisa Raye, The Hills, The Housewives, The Bachelors, The Jumpoffs and The Groupies. But I just stumbled upon(plug) the first single by Teyana Taylor. You know I always refer you to google if you dont know who or what i'm talking about, so its ironic that this single is title " Google Me Baby". I think it's fun/cool/cute, and it answers one of our questions of what she actually does...

Today is the day that we celebrate the work and achievement of Dr.Martin Luther King Jr... "I Have A Dream"... "Free At Last"... Those are phrases that one cannot utter with out the association to Dr. King.

I respect all that he stood for and all the sacrifices that he made. You'd be silly not to ask yourself "Where would we be if Dr.King had not sacrificed his life for my Civil Rights?"  and  How can I add to his legacy?

Daily Fashion Rant

So there is an individual (leaving out names to protect the innocent) who calls me up for wardrobe advice at least once a week.  I know this is my "fortay", being blessed with the fashion insight ,know-how, and KAPOW!! on everylevel, but questions like "what shirt to wear with these blue jeans?" is just insulting.

This just lead me to todays Fashion Rant! 

Some people believe that in order to be fashionable, you have to "break the bank"... and spend exorbitant amounts of money on garb....

When in actuality, you can be the baddest creature to walk in the front door dressed in an ensemble costing less than 20bucks!  It's your persona/personality/energy/mojo that is golden.

The KEY in being "fashionable" is being able to build your wardrobe with solid TIMELESS pieces platformed by FIT & expressive of your LIFESTYLE!
