Just realized there aren't too many things that beat sitting across a (insert handsome) man smoking a cigar in a dimly restuarant having a nice conversation over Bailey's, hazelnut gelato, and Cheesecake.
Too bad I didn't wear my plaid pageboy cap to make the experience complete.......
Ok I just found my inspiration for today. This boot by Jeffrey Campbell, a Stella knockoff, but comparable in quality. JC has been doing a great job of providing us fashionistas the HEAT in footwear at a reasonable price.
I'm trying to be good, but I spotted but these for less than $200 bucks!!! Lawd help me...

The time is approaching for the launch of this season's guest line for H&M, Jimmy Choo on November 14,2009.
The onset of Luxury Designers creating affordable lines in your favorite stores has been a huge project for the past couple of years. It allows everyday people like you and I who necessarily can't afford to pay 900 to thousands of dollars on designer pieces, budget conscience pieces with the same quality and marked with the same luxury brand name. Target has brought on such luxury designers as Carlos Falchi, and Walmart has brought on luxury designers such as Norma Kamali, just to name a few.
Check out this video by NYLON MAG giving us the inside on what to expect!!
So really.... Gear up!! For true fashionistas we will be sitting outside the store like those crazy women on Black Friday with our noses to the window streaming "Open,Open,Open!!! My personal favorite is the thigh high black learther boot(300.00).

lASTLY...Here's a hint on which stores to hit up:

In NYC: Broadway, E. 86thST,Lexington, 7th Ave, 5th Ave
My inspiration today came from my 8 year old neice, Atiya. She's the funniest little thing and thinks she's a supastar. Since she had a day off of school, I figured I'd be a nice Auntie Milla and hang with her for the day, unbenounced to her it was more enjoyment for me!
I needed air and felt like taking a drive to Los Feliz, a cool artsy fartsy area next to Burbank. I stopped in UNA MAE'S, a women and men's clothing store. Cozy, and ecletic with a great mix of vintage finds and labels like Penguine, BB Dakota, shoes by MIA and TOM'S. She had a 10.00 basket with some cool finds. I'm trying to be good so I opted for nothing. It was tough!

As I woke up this morning, stumbling out of my bed to head to the bathroom, I felft like I was a contestant on one of those asian shows with the wacky obstacle course. Hopping over Shoes, suitcases, rolling under clothing racks, chairs and this was before I hit my bedroom door....So I was forced to ask myself " When is it enough"... Right now Idk... I'm out of breath from course 1.
Sincerely,
Contestant #1 JC
